Abstract (EN)

In continuous casting process which is known important steel making stage in Turkey and all over the world, different parameters may be used in combination. Using the appropriate parameters to fulfill the terms of the metallurgical product properties are important. Many innovations in the continuous casting process was performed to present day from past. The needs and ability of continuous casting, perform optimally in accordance solidification, because of that reason steel analysis, refractory materials, are known to do a lot of work on topics such as effective continuous casting parameters. When analyzing continuous casting parameters it was seen that the casting speed can be effective on the macro sample quality needs consumption. For this reason in this study, it is investigated that the effects of the increase casting speed in the macro samples. For this purpose, high carbon, micro alloys DIN EN ISO 16120-2:2011-C66D steel grades macro samples were cast by changing this parameter is different and needs are evaluated in terms of quality. Compared macro sample quality results; casting speed was the effected.
