Abstract (EN)

Metallic glass alloys retain their superior mechanical properties up to their crystallization temperatures. In high temperature applications, the need for materials with high mechanical strength increases the importance of bulk metallic glasses with high crystallization temperature. For the production of metallic glasses with high crystallization temperatures, refractory elements with high melting temperatures must be present in the alloy. When the studies in the literature are examined, it is seen that many metallic glass alloys with high crystallization temperatures and high hardness values have been developed. However, these alloys have high liquidus temperatures as well as crystallization temperatures, so their glass forming abilities are quite low. Their low glass forming abilities greatly restrict the use of these alloys. In addition, these alloys are very costly due to the elements they contain such as Ru, Os, Rh, Ir and Re. The objective of this thesis is to develop bulk metallic glass alloys with relatively low cost, high crystallization temperature and high glass forming ability.
