Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study; expectations and necessities of students that are enrolled in a higher education institution are measured and opinions of students as to what universities should do in this respect are discussed. Accordingly the most important first three expectations of these students after graduation are examined. These expectations are also separately examined on the basis of differences between undergraduate and two-year degree students, differences between classes in which students are enrolled, differences between genders of students and differences between ages of students. Moreover it is examined on the basis of undergraduate and two-year degree students comparatively what universities should do in order to educate more quality graduates against these expectations. In addition to these subjects level of significance of services provided by universities is questioned. Differences between expectations of undergraduate students and two-year degree students are handled as hypothesis. For this purpose survey method has been applied, this survey has been analyzed by SPSS software and it has been attempted to explain differences between students of faculty and vocational high school that are enrolled in a higher education institution.
