Abstract (EN)

The main objective of this study is to produce a cementitious fibre board composite with high performance cement bonded wood fiber sheet which is not produced in our country. As a result of the study, the most suitable production conditions have been determined by producing high performance wood fiber laminate composite in different types according to needs of users. In this study, the production of cement-bonded wood fiber board which is harmless to health and has higher resistance properties in terms of mechanical properties compared to cementitious chip board has been achieved. Portland cement of type CEM I 42.5R has been used as binder in the production of plates. In plates with different densities, materials such as expanded clay and rice husk have been used at different ratios. In order to determine the physical and mechanical properties of cemented fiber boards, unit weight, water absorption, thickness increase, moisture content, bending strength, modulus of elasticity, perpendicular tensile strength and screw holding resistance have been determined. As a result of experiments, the production of cemented fiber boards with high mechanical properties has been accomplished.
