Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the crashworthiness performance of the passive safety systems in the car was simulated by computer programs. In addition, in order to get results closer to the real conditions, during the production of sheet metal produced passive safety elements, cold sheet metal forming result of residual stresses occurring and change of thickness values in the section were also taken into account. In this way, more accurate results are obtained. As another part of this study, worked on passive safety systems whose energy absorber for the first, assigned some variables given boundary conditions of geometrical dimensions and this size range are made optimization for shock absorber system's crash performance has been improved. Subsequently, optimization variables by adding the deformation parameters remain exposed during production of the system, optimization studies conducted, and closer to real results, a higher crash performance energy absorber obtained by the thesis is completed.
