Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, quality management systems such as total quality management, award programs, quality assurance systems, evaluation, accreditation, benchmarking and auditing which are implemented at educational institutions are discussed. Advantages, disadvantages, procedures, measurements and evaluation criteria, standards, application costs, recognition, award and certification of these systems are examined. Importance of total quality management for educational institutions is emphasized. Most suitable quality system for Faculties of Economics and Administrative Sciences is discussed. A comprehensive self evaluation guideline which can be used for quality improvement practice is prepared for the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. In this self evaluation guideline, general standards and criteria of accreditation and evaluation of institutions are taken into consideration. This guideline consists of three sections which belong to program, faculty and university respectively.
