Abstract (EN)
In this work, deriving proportional integral control coefficients by using heuristic optimization methods for power factor correction is realized. Boost converter is used as circuit topoloogy. Genetic algorithm, particle swarm optimization and differential evolution algorithms are investigated heuristic optimization techniques. Schematic design of circuit is realized by MATLAB / SIMULINK program. Again in MATLAB program, source codes are prepared for stated algorithms and the study is observed from these source code files during iterations by working circuit which desingned by MATLAB / SIMULINK program. As a result, power factor is increased and total harmonic distortion is decreased. The best solutions in investigated methods are derived by using differential evolution algorithm.
