Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was determined for silverbelly and scaldfish that their reproduction periods were from April to September and December to June respectively; they reached first maturity at II. year and 5.65cm to 6.6cm, long; roe diameter was langerr than 0.65mm and 0.45mm; mean annual fecundity was 2789+2109 and 11932+12500 respectively, von. Bertalanffy growth constants were calculated by using growth characteristics. The growth constants for silverbelly L«f=10.28cm, K=0.29year"1, t0=-0.42year, W«,=11.75gr and for scaldfishes were Lao=15.88cm, K^.Oyear"1, t0=-1.54year and W0O=27.64gr. It was estimated that the highest growth in Length and Weight for silverbelly between the age groups I. to II. and II. to III; for scaldfish I. to II. and V. to VI. Also for those two species, it was estimated that total mortality were Z=0.9609 and 0.5319 and its components were M=0.6460 and 0.3616, and F=0.314 and 0.1700 respectively.
