Abstract (EN)

This study, reports the development of a novel electrochemical sensor for the detection of pyridoxine (Pyr) using a laboratory-fabricated disposable screen-printed electrode (LabSPE) modified with a Fe3O4-SiC-rGO nanocomposite. The structural and chemical properties of the composite materials were thoroughly characterized by FT-IR, XRD, XPS, FE-SEM, and EDX analyses. The individual contributions of rGO's high conductivity, SiC's facilitation of electron transfer, and Fe3O4's electrocatalytic activity to the electrooxidation response of Pyr were examined in detail using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The sensor exhibited excellent sensitivity with a linear detection range of 0.75 to 225 μM and a detection limit as low as 0.10 μM. Its practical applicability was demonstrated through successful analysis of real samples including energy drinks, pharmaceutical, and artificial urine, yielding recovery rates between 101.8% and 102.2%. Furthermore, selectivity tests showed that the sensor effectively discriminates Pyr from other B vitamins. The synergistic effect of rGO, SiC, and Fe3O4 nanostructures significantly enhanced the sensor's current response during Pyr oxidation.
