Abstract (EN)

The aim of our in vitro study was to evaluate the effect of different surface cleaning treatments on the strength of the micro-shear joint between the contaminated ceramic and the resin cement. It has been seen that restoration surface cleaning plays an important role in the ceramic-resin bond for the long-term success of all ceramics in the oral environment. It is claimed that a strong connection is created by effectively cleaning the contaminated surfaces of restorations with the use of different surface cleaners. Examples used in our study; Obtained from Vita Suprinity (ZLS) and IPS e.max ZirCAD (Y-TZP) blocks. The samples obtained with a thickness of 1 mm ±0.02 mm; cylindrical molds were embedded with autopolymerizing acrylic resin. 27 ZLS and Y-TZP samples obtained; as non-contamination, saliva - air/water spray (control), saliva - Ivoclean, saliva - Katana Cleaner, light body - air/water spray (control), light body - Ivoclean, light body - Katana Cleaner and light body - alcohol It was divided into 9 groups. XPS analysis to determine chemical change to each group; SEM analysis was performed for microscopic surface changes. For cementation; Silane was applied to the samples whose surface treatments were completed. The cylindrical composites were adhered to the sample surface with Panavia V5. The bond strength values of the prepared samples were obtained by performing the micro-shear bond strength test. The samples were examined with a stereomicroscope to investigate the microscopic changes on the rupture surfaces of the ruptured specimens. According to our study; It was observed that contamination with saliva and light body decreased the binding value. Best surface cleaning for contamination with saliva; It was found as Katana Cleaner in ZLS and Y-TZP samples. Alcohol was found to be the best surface cleaner in both ZLS and Y-TZP samples after contamination with light body.
