Abstract (EN)
Plasma is a reconfigurable medium with different conductivity and dielectric properties. Plasma antenna technology uses conductivity features of ionized gas for antenna structures like in the flouresant tubes. In this thesis, plasma column antennas are analyzed by using Finite Difference Time Domain-FDTD numerical method. Different plasma antenna configurations are simulated to demonsrate plasma antenna features. Electric field and current distributions are evaluated along the plasma column. It is shown that plasma antennas are very similar to metal antennas. Also, it has been established that the alteration of plasma properties enables the dynamic reconfiguration of the plasma antenna.
