Abstract (EN)

This study is aimed to determine energy consumption of input and output used in Olive production and making a cost analysis in Mersin region. The data were collected from 60 olive farms by using a face to face questionnaire method. The results of research showed that the energy consumption for chemical fertilizers was 1665 MJ/ha. According to the results of the research, Olive / Total energy consumption was calculated as 21807,56 MJ / ha. This is because the input with the highest energy consumption belongs to fertilization with a value of 7461,30 MJ / ha. In terms of energy consumption, fuel (diesel) 3668.34 MJ / ha was in the second rank, and animal manure energy in the third rank was calculated as 3348,81 MJ / ha. It is used as 3,10, 45780,48 MJ / ha, 3,81 MJ / kg and 0,26 kg / MJ. Mechanization level indicators are calculated as kw / ha 5,60, tool-machine / tractor 2,55 and ha / tractor 4,33. Cost (expense) analysis result; it is calculated that the profit value is realized as 20689,55 TL / ha.
