Zeyyat Selimoğlu's stories and novels in structure and theme

Zeyyat Selimoğlu, one of the productive authors of Turkish literature. Although giving works in fields as novel, memory and translation, he comes to the fore front as story teller. Selimoğlu, who took all the affairs of all living things, especially man with sensitivity, mainly centers the lives of the sean and seafarers. In our literature with Halikarnas Balıkçısı and Sait Faik, he treats the different aspect of the seapeople from the land ones with delicacy. In the present work, Zeyyat Selimoğlu's stories and novels are viewed by means of structure and theme. In the introduction part of the study, which consist three main part with an introductury, in Turkish literature is given. In the first chapter is devoted to the author's private and literary life. In the second and third chapters the structures and themes of the stories and novels and the author's literary language and literary style are discussed, respectively. In the conclusion part, a general assesment of the study was made. In the bibliography part, the list of the utilized resources was listed. Besides all above, the documents and photographs belonging to the author Zeyyat Selimoğlu was added.
