Abstract (EN)

In recent years, the extraordinary properties showing of materials produced in nanosize are increased the studies on biosensors low-costed, easy produced and advanced analitical characteristics. Glucose is a monosaccharide which is used as an intermediate product in metabolic reactions and energy source in cells. Also, it is one of the main products of photosynthesis and cellular respiretion begins with glucose. Determination of glucose has great importance for diagnosis of diseases which occur related to glucose level in blood. In this study, electrode was prepared with coating zinc oxide nanorod on silver wire. Zinc oxide nanorod coated elekctrode surface; glucose biosensor was prepared to immobilization of glucose oxidase enzym and it was called Biosensor G. Also, glucose biosensor prepared with using chitosan to immobilization of glucose oxidase enzym on zinc oxide coated electrode surface and it was called Biosensor GK. To determine the optimum working conditions of the biosensor; examined the effect of buffer concentration, buffer pH, and media temperature on the electrode response and determined shelf life, repeatibility and interval of determination (designated range). Determination of glucose in blood serum was realized by the standart addition method with glucose biosensor called Biosensor GK.
