Abstract (EN)
The accent is a colloquial language specific to certain localities that may differ in sound, shape syntax, and meaning within the same language. Dialect studies are an important field of research considering phonology, morphology, syntax, and its contribution to the existence of words. In this study, which examined the local accent characteristics of the Devrek District of Zonguldak Province, different aspects of the Devrek accent from the standard language were examined and distinctive features were found. This study was prepared from the data obtained by using 21 different people from the 17 villages in Devrek District. In this study, phonetic features identified as different from Standard Turkish were examined in the title "phonetic information" and morphological features were examined in the title "morphological information". In the compiled texts, subjects bearing traces of Devrek's cultural structure were selected and discussed on these topics. The aim of the study is to examine the Devrek accent, which shows its distinctive sound and shape characteristics to determine its distinctive features.
