Abstract (EN)
This thesis aims to present a grammatical and rhetorical study of Surat As-Sajda in some of the themes of grammar and rhetoric, namely: (forward and backward, omission, interrogation, and the imperative verb), The importance of this study comes from the importance of its subject, which is the Holy Qur'an - being the highest Arabic text - and Surah As-Sajda in particular, being a surah rich in many grammatical and rhetorical rules and principles, as grammar and rhetoric are among the most important sciences of the Arabic language, and their issues and branches are hidden from many scholars, and Surah As-Sajda has mentioned many of these issues and branches; this study also derives its importance from the importance of the themes chosen in this study: This study derives its importance from the importance of the themes chosen for this study, namely: (forward and backward, omission, interrogation, command) as common grammar and rhetoric, which are abundantly mentioned in Surat As-Sajda, which makes them of special grammatical and rhetorical value, in addition to their value in what has been mentioned in its virtue. In order to achieve the purposes of the study, the descriptive, inductive, and analytical method was followed as it is the most appropriate to answer the study's questions: Surah As-Sajda is one of the Meccan surahs, and it has several names, the most famous of which are: Surah As-Sajda, A.L.M, and Al-Madaja'ah. This surah has great merit in reading and reflecting on it, and its themes revolve around believing in the Holy Qur'an, the conditions of those who disbelieve in it, and responding to them. The relationship between grammar and rhetoric is so close that it is difficult to separate them; grammar is concerned with the structural aspect of the sentence, and rhetoric is concerned with the semantic aspect of the sentence and the purposes and secrets it contains. As for the introduction and delay, one of its most prominent purposes in Surat As-Sajda is: Specialisation and exclusivity, denial and sarcasm, alerting and reminding, attention and interest in the presented, drawing the mind to it, and arousing suspicion for the presented. As for omissions, their purpose was: Shortness and brevity, showing care for the mentioned, showing its greatness and reverence, preserving the weight and musicality of the sentence, unwillingness to specify, or alluding to exaggeration and intimidation. As for the interrogative in Surat As-Sajda, it is used in six places in the Surah in the form of the verb (do), some of which serve the real meaning of request, exaltation and obligation, and some of which serve the figurative meaning of the command, namely supplication, wishful thinking, humiliation, humiliation and reproach of the disbelievers and polytheists. Keywords: Arabic language. Surah As-Sajda. Grammar. Rhetoric. Analysis.
