The concepts that establish the significance of the structure of the Qur'anic word are a massive amount of knowledge; a cause to find the Qur'an's vision in this the universe, life and mankind, among these establishing concepts in the Qur'anic lexicon is the concept of (urbanization or civilization), as it establishes the building of a human civilization, according to a Qur'anic vision represented by the "Meccan and Madinan" periods, and beyond, according to cosmic and legislative laws. This study searches for (the urbanization) from the angle of semantic analysis, whether in the lexical context known as (the immediate significance) during the down of revelation, or in the sequential significance of the urbanization represented in the later dictionaries (after the descent of the holy Qur'an). The study is based on revealing the significance of the Qur'anic word (Imran "the urbanization") as a central word, and forming a knowledge network for the main word, which is to monitor the nearby words and the synonymous and opposite words to it, in order to reach a knowledge close to the Qur'anic vision of the concept (the urbanization). As the structure of the word (Imran) in the Holy Qur'an is distinguished from seeing the rest of the other dictionaries, and dictionaries that were used in multiple contexts, before or after the time of revelation, The (Imran) in the Qur'anic lexicon comes in a context that has its own specificity related to revelation, as it combines the materiality and the soul, and that it is not possible for us to understand the overall vision of the concept (Imran) except within the framework of the system of succession and subjugation to achieve the purpose of human existence in compliance with the first task of human creation; which it is the worship of God Almighty through the urbanization on the earth in the connection to the belief in God Almighty. This study comes as a thesis submitted to obtain "the master's degree" in "the Islamic Studies Program" at Istanbul University, with a title of: (Semantic Analysis of the Concept of Urbanism in the holy Qur'an), the study was divided into three sections: The first section: talks about the historical linguistic study of the concept (Imran "the urbanization"), the second section: It talks about the concept (Imran) in the context of its immediate significance and meanings, and the third section: It talks about the concept ("Imran" the urbanization) in its sequential connotation. In this section, I talked about the interpreters' view of the concept, how it was presented in the Prophetic Sunnah, and the vision of those interpreters through the centuries, the intentional vision of the concept, and the modernist vision of the concept.
