Razi'nin Kur'an kıssalarına yaklaşımı: İsrâ Süresi örneği

This study examines Al-Razi's methodology in interpreting Qur'anic narratives through his renowned exegesis Mafatih Al-Ghayb (The Keys to the Unseen), specifically focusing on Surah Al-Isra. The research aims to determine the extent of his reliance on transmitted knowledge (al-ma'thur), his approach to interpretation and personal reasoning (ra'y), his linguistic preferences, and how he derived jurisprudential rulings from Qur'anic stories. The significance of this study lies in exploring Al-Razi's approach to Qur'anic narratives, particularly in Surah Al-Isra, which highlights his reputation as an interpreter based on reason and critical analysis. The research employs a descriptive and analytical methodology, focusing on key stories in Surah Al-Isra, such as the stories of the Children of Israel, Adam, and Iblis. The study concludes with several key findings, including that Al-Razi's approach to Qur'anic narratives in Surah Al-Isra is unique. He combined traditional exegesis with rational analysis, drawing evidence from the Qur'an, Hadith, and the sayings of the Companions and Tabi'un, followed by in-depth critical analysis. This methodology reflects his attention to detail and his understanding of the multifaceted dimensions of Qur'anic narratives, making his interpretation a distinctive model in Qur'anic exegesis. Despite extensive research on his work, this monumental exegesis warrants further exploration due to its depth, diversity, and the wide range of topics covered.
