The relationship between psychological resillience levels and problem solving skills of parents withchildren 0-6 age group

In this research, various demographic variables in terms of problem solving related to psychological robustness levels of parents with children aged 0- 6 were studied. A total of 180 parents (113 females and 67 males) whose children were in private nurseries in Yüreğir district of Adana and 180 non-parent adults (103 females and 77 males) participated in the study.As research data collection tools; Personal Information Form, Psychological Robustness Scale For Adults, and Problem Solving Skills Inventory were used. The data was statically analyzed with SPSS 15.0 Packet program. İn the analysis of data, the Mann Whitney U and the Kruskall Wallis Test were used. to determine, whether a corelation existed, the Spearman Corelation Test was used. According to the research results; It has been found that there is a significant positive correlation between psychological resilience and problem solving skills in parents. It has been determined that psychological resilience levels differ according to the income levels, ages and history of receiving psychological support, and there is a significant relationship between problem solving skills and working status of the parents and ın the non-parent group, there was a very weak positive correlation between psychological resilience and problem solving skills.
