The Comparison of Reaction Time of Male Tennis Players, Table Tennis Players and Sedanters Aged Between 10-12 Years.

The aim of this study was to determine the reaction time differences among 17 tennis players, 18 table tennis players and 16 sedanters aged between 10-12 yearsThe subjects participated in reaction time tests that included right, left hand reactions against to sound and light or mixed stimulations. The tests were done by using Newtest 2000 reaction timerAt the end of the tests, reaction time scores of table tennis players were significantly different from sedantersAlso significant differences were indicated between table tennis players and tennis players in reaction time scoresAlthough there was a difference between tennis players and sedanters, this difference was not significantConsequently, ıt can be said that table tennis players has the best reaction time scoresKey words: Tennis, Table Tennis, Reaction Time.
