Ahmet b. Ali nin (1172) el-Kavlü's-Sedîd fi İttisâli'l-Esânîd isimli eserinin tahkik ve analizi / Studying and investigating the manuscript "al-Qawl al-Sadeed fi Ittisal al-Asaneed" by Ahmad bin Ali Al-Minnini (d. 1172 AH)

This thesis deals with the study and investigation of the book: "The Right Saying in Communication of Ascendants" by the scholar Ahmed bin Ali Al-Minnini (d. 1172 AH). The importance of this book comes from the fact that it is one of the precious books in the science of terminology, in which the author collected the sayings of scholars and their jurisprudence on the issue of isnad and other hadith issues. Nor is Al-Minnini's scholarly status hidden, as he took from the great hadith scholars in Damascus at the time, such as Sheikh Muhammad Abi al-Mawahib, the Hanbali mufti in Damascus, Ibn alSheikh Abd al-Baqi al-Hanbali, and authorized him in hadith and readings. Also, the author excelled in composing poetry and his book indicates that, and he was one of the people of Sufism and behavior, the Hanafi school of thought. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the historical descriptive approach was followed when extrapolating and presenting the biographical and scientific biography of Imam AlMinnini, defining his era and the events that took place in it, and the method of investigation and commentary in the investigated text when comparing copies and proving their authenticity. Three manuscript copies from various libraries were relied upon. The sayings were returned to their sources, and what was mentioned in the text of the Qur'anic verses, hadiths and sayings, and a comment on some of the hadith issues raised by Al-Minnini for the purpose of clarification. The most conclusions of the study were: that the author relied in his book on a collection of sayings, and he rarely expresses an opinion on an issue, and he often conveys the words of the predecessors and successors in the topics he discussed and put forward, except for one place in which he preferred the permissibility of transmitting the hadith from the books approved in the hadith on the condition of the interview. Likewise, the author excelled in presenting the topics of the book in an easy and simple manner that every reader could understand, and Al-Minnini relied on reliable sources in the science of hadith, such as the narrator's training by Al-Suyuti and quoted from him verbatim in sixteen places, and Irshad Al-Sari by Al-Qastalani in eight places, and other various hadith sources by Ibn Hajar and others.
