Abstract (EN)

Studying the interpretation of Surat al-Rahman by Hamami Zadeh, may Allah have mercy on him, has several benefits since it is considered a model of the Ottoman interpretations that were widespread in the twelfth-century AH, corresponding to the eighteenth-century AD. Despite the popularity of his interpretations among the public in Turkey and other Islamic countries, hewas not studied and researched as he deserves and his interpretations are still notresearched, controlled, and studied. In most of his interpretations, he relied on the transmitted interpretation, such as the interpretation of the Qur'an with the Qur'an which he handled with elaboration, and the interpretation of the Qur'an with Hadith and the speeches of the companions and followers. His interpretations also contained most of the studies of the science of Qur'an, including the reasons for revelation and the different readings, and others. But he, may Allah have mercy on him, often neglected the chain of transmission in his narrations of the hadiths he cited in support of a specific explanation. It is also noted that he conveyed many news, narratives and stories that have no chain of narration. The most important findings of the thesis are: 1- The scarcity of researchers who paid attention and dealt with the interpretations of that period, as he did not have the opportunity to have his interpretations taken care of, which impoverishes the Islamic library and its need to know the methods of the interpreters of that era. 2- The uniqueness of Sheikh Hamami Zadeh's style of interpretation, as he mentions the verse and then explains it using all the words and meanings that it resembles from other verses. Then he elaborates mentioning the hadiths that support his explanation and interpretation, in addition to the speeches of the companions and followers. 3- The abundance of research of Qur'an science in his interpretation, especially the science of readings. 4- The great care Sheikh Al-Hamami, may God have mercy on him, took in referring to the sources from which he took, narrated, and relied upon.
