Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between pre-competition anxiety and mental endurance of adolescents between the ages of 13-17.In order to carry out an in-depth analysis, the universe was narrowed down and 199 taekwondo athletes between the ages of 13-17, 129 female and 70 male, were determined as the sample group in Yozgat province. The Mental Endurance Scale for Adolescents, developed by McGeown et al. (2018) and adapted into Turkish by Soylu et al. (2019), and the Anxiety Scale in Sports, developed by Smith et al. in 1990 and adapted into Turkish by Karadağ and Aşçı (2020), were used as datacollection tools in the study.
