The aim of the research is to study and investigate "the comments of Sheikh Ismail bin Muhammad al-Jadidi al-Kurdi (d. 1389 AH) on the interpretation of Madarik al-Tanzeel by Imam al-Nasafi (d. 710 AH), and the scope of the study is Surat Maryam until the end of Surat al-Qasas. The importance of this explanation comes from the scientific value of Al-Nasafi's interpretation, in which his author summarized Al-Baydawi's interpretation, and focused on readings, aspects of parsing, the rulings of the jurisprudential schools of thought, especially the four, and introducing the doctrine of the Sunnis in the issues explained, and investigating the selection of authentic hadiths, while highlighting the linguistic aspects and rhetorical jokes. In addition to the scholarly status of Sheikh Al-Jadidi at the time, he excelled in the sciences of interpretation, jurisprudence, hadith, speech, and language, and his entourage was rich in interpretive and linguistic benefits. The study followed the historical descriptive approach when translating Imam al-Nasafi and Sheikh al-Jadidi, introducing their era, presenting their biography and scientific biography, and the method of investigation and commentary in the investigated section by copying the text, adjusting it, and bringing it to the closest form desired by the author, and documenting the sayings and attributing them to their sources. The study used a handwritten copy written by the son of Sheikh Al-Jadidi, Mulla Abdul Hamid. The most important results of the study are: The most important thing that distinguishes Al-Jadidi's explanation are several things: his interest in explaining the grammatical interpretation at the beginning of the commentary, and mentioning the possibilities of grammaticalization in the word if they exist, then explaining the meaning related to it, as well as his interest in selecting the ambiguous and disputed ones from Al-Nasafi's interpretation in order to explain and explain it to the students, since this method suits his role as a teacher. Where he left the explanation of understandable phrases to the reader, Al-Jadeedi also pointed out in his explanation that there were differences or corrections between the versions of Al-Nasafi's interpretation, and he also took care to mention the doctrinal differences and respond to the dissenting sects, such as the Mu'tazilites and others, without describing them as misguidance or disbelief, but rather he mentioned their opinions with impartiality and responded to them according to what he understood from the verses. His comments were also distinguished by his extensive editing of linguistic, rhetorical, and verbal issues and issues. His entourage was characterized by literal transmission, and the trustworthiness of transmitting from others was evident. He often stated his opinion, and sometimes he did not, and he did not have many objections to what he transmitted.
