Abstract (EN)
In this study, the Ottoman Musical Education in the 1 5 th century was investigated. Due to the nature of the study a historical research method was used. Since the 15 the century Ottoman Music was not investigated in music education departments, as far as the researcher is concerned, this study is the first in its kind in Turkey. In the study; science and art life, educational system and Turkish music theories in the 15 th century were analyzed. According to the findings of the study it is concluded. That Turkish music theories and accordingly Turkish music education had been passed through a radical change and development as a result of the administrators. Close interest in education, art and artists. It is also observed that Turkish as a language of science and art gained importance for the first the in the history of Ottoman period in the 1 5 th century.
