The soci̇o-economi̇cal dynami̇cs of Korkuteli̇ di̇stri̇ct accordi̇ng to temettuat regi̇stri̇es of year 1840

In this thesis which title is ''The socio-economical dynamics of Korkuteli district according to temettuat registries of year 1840'' together with creating an perspective about economical conditions of region, I also tried to make a determination about life style of Ottoman provincial society. I had some obligations in determining the boundaries of my study so I tried not to move out of points that I mainly wanted to determine. Briefly, the registries of year 1840 contain limited data for determination of economical situation. So I could not make an evaluation about products information or gained product amount. On the other hand, according to priorities specified by myself; I wanted to make a determination about the mentioned period and examine the data registered in countings of villages. In this point of view this study does not contain a comparison of nowadays. The basis of this study are 3 different registries where 46 villages connected to Istanos Region ae registered. In these registries which are in Prime Ministry Ottoman Archive the villages are recorded seperately. Key Words: Ottoman, Tanzimat, Temettuat, İstanos
