It is possible to go around utopian works in many ways in terms of administrative science. Social control mechanisms are also one of them. The 19th-century utopias bear traces of modern management thought. Examining the social control mechanisms of 19th-century utopias makes visible the impregnation practices of modern polities. The phenomenon of security in modern management brings to mind that means of social control used to ensure order and security should be reassessed. The 19th-century practices passed to present-day management thinking are an important object of examination to comprehend the disciplinary practices of the society in which we live. It has been intended to achieve the practices that modern polities use to restore order by the examination of social control mechanisms of the utopias selected in the study.
