Abstract (EN)

Temettuat registries, provide valuable informatiın abouth 19th century economic and social history studies. Moreover, temettuat registries are to be such as to shed light on the history of the region. These temettuat registries which were written in the 19th century gene-rate the main sourse of my thesis called ''Socio-Ekonomic and Demographic Structure Fini-ke in the First Half of the 19th Century'' The master thesis study consist of four sections including introduction. In the intro-duction section, the geographical structure, physical condition and history of the Finike are mentioned. Then. İnfotmation is given oabout the financial arrangements made after the Tanzimat and temettuat registries belonging to Finike. In the fırst section, information about the administrative status, the population and social status of the villages of Finike district was given and it was tried to be enriched tables and graphics. In the second section, information about agriculture, animal husbandry and beekee-ping, wich comprise the economic structure of the district, is presented. The obtained infor-mation was tried to be interpreted with tables and graphics. In the third section, tax distribu-tion and total tax by villages were examined. With this study, temettuat registries belong to Finike were tried to be eveluated via translation. In addition, the 1831 and 1841 population registers were examined and informa-tion was given about the male population of the district. Within this framework, it was tried to evaluate the socio-economic and demographic situation of Finike in the fırst half of the 19th century by examining the temettuat registries of the Finike district.
