Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, art movements from 1900s to the present are examined and brief information is given regarding these movements. Afterwards, the works of artists are examined, it is also examined how artists and society were affected by these movements and what kind of clothes women were wearing at that time. First of all, art movements that come out by social events affecting human thought are explained, the works produced are supported with images and the variability of the movements within the period are examined. Women's clothing fashion is also mentioned for the period when these art movements emerged, and it is also mentioned how the famous designers reflect the continuously changing structure of the fashion in the last 10 years to their collections. The steps of the clothing collection process are examined and the up-to-date printing techniques which have been influenced by the art movements are explained and the collection has been created by getting supported with the accessories on women's clothing.
