Between 1919-1950 period in Turkey's opposition political similar arguments

The continuity between the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey, appears similarly in the relationship between the government and the opposition. By the late periods of the XVII. century when the Ottoman started to be modernized, a modern bureaucracy and modern political relations began to emerge. While a continuous liberal opposition continuity can be proposed to the Democratic Party from the New Ottomans, it can also be claimed that the Free Republican Party is a fully driven backyard apart from these structures. It is revealed that there is an intellectual continuity among all these opposing movements and mainly there are similar names behind these structures. The events happened between the "Imperial Edict of Reorganization" in 1838 and 1918 was transferred to the Karakol Society which was the last opposition movement of the Ottoman Empire. The programme named "Declaration of Nine Principles" declared by the Karakol Society, created the milestones of the opposition of the Republic of Turkey in its early period. This study examines the impact of the Committee of Union and Progress on the power-opposition relations in Turkish political life. The contributions of the Unionists to the National Movement were emphasized in various studies in the context of the benefits they provided with the staff they have trained, but their contributions in the intellectual sense were only evaluated within the structure of the Rebuplic Public Party and their contribution to the opposition was ignored. However, the line of opposition from the Karakol Society to the Second Group, from the Progressive Republican Party to the Free Republican Party, and finally till the Democratic Party has always followed the liberal and anti-centralist line of Prince Sabahattin school which engaged in opposition activities in the First Young Turk Congress in the 1902. Prince Sabahattin himself operated within the body of Ahrar and Freedom and Confession Parties, but his ideas were undertaken by the Karakol Society and his successors, although there were certain nuances. In the literature, especially the role of the Karakol Society in the opposition is neglected.
