Özet (EN)

It is discussed within this thesis study; how the Peace Treaty of Lausanne and especially the matters which could not be solved within this treaty affected the Turkish Foreign Policy of Atatürk Period between the years 1923 and 1938. Within this framework, Turkey?s relationships with some countries that it is in connection in terms of foreign policy have been examined. Besides this, the efforts of maintaining the international security based on their national security worries that they had in this term between two wars, have been also mentioned. Turkey managed to hold a successful foreign policy in an atmosphere in which the world separated into two groups as revisionists and status quo supporters and in which a few years later the World Economic Crisis has been experienced, consequently in which most troubles were experienced in terms of not only politics but also economy. It is tried to be expressed what kind of a balance policy is adopted directed to mentioned states in this troubled term.Key words: Balance Policy, Revisionists, Status Quo Supporters, International Security, Unsolvable Matters
