1923 - 1950 Gazi̇antep's li̇fe of the soci̇al, cultural and economi̇c

After the nationalin dependence war was won, as in all parts of Gaziantep was worked to heal the wounds of the war and tried to move on from economically perspective. After the war, houses, buildings of Gaziantep had been burned and the rooads had been closed. Because of agricultural fields were not planted, there were food shortage in Gaziantep. Businesses also had been struck by the bullets of the enemy soldiers. Such as, the works were started for restaration of Gaziantep. For this purpose, the people of the town were made many attempts with their own resources and helps of the government in the economic field. The agricultural products started to be planted and was restablished. Gaziantep pistachios ,viticulture and Hasankeyf quality to baccos which are important for Gaziantep. The production of cotton was speedup and the weaving was progressed. Many weavers cooperative were allowed to be opened by the Council of Ministers. New organizations and institutions were established. At schoolage, for children to continue their education in village sandcities had been built and new schools was provided. Made in the period many infectious diseases were attempted to prevent by build dispensaries, polyclinic sand hospitals. Economi caspects of Gaziantep in Turkey has an important place in this day between the years 1923-1950 in the fact that as a result of the effort sand struggles of the people of Gaziantep.
