Abstract (EN)
In this dissertation;it is analysed how the resolution process of ?Etabli? dispute which occurred during the exchange of the Turkish-Greek populations was reflected on the public opinion from the side of the Turkish press sources.Public opinion hoped that people wouldn?t suffer any more in the aftermath of the war.The newspapers of this period which was made available to people published news about the need to find a solution as soon as possible, which indicated that ıt wasn?t an easy task.It was necessary that the states reach a consensus on the resolution to the problem. The regional and international picture of this period has an essential role on the resolution of this dispute. In my dissertation,It is pointed out that both states sought to agree on this dispute by making sacrifies in order to construct the basic considerations of the alliances which would be forged in agreement in the future and to solve the problems of the people.Key Words: Exchange of populations, Etabli Dispute, Greek, Turkish Press,
