Between the years of 1940-1960's magazines published painting art criticism for art and culture news

As it is known, there is no efficient well organized information about Turkish art of painting between 1940 and 1960. As a result of this deficiency, in the light of the prints of this era, the aim of our work is to enlighten the dark spaces of this period. According to follow Turkish painting of art prior to 1940 and latter of 1960, the innovations of these years have been included in our study.As a result of this material determination process, nearly all of the 450 sources scanned at their places that have mentioned in introduction part of our thesis. Concerning to our study of Turkish painting, another 46 culture and art magazines have also been used. Up to total of 2800 text, pictures, paintings, theses have been obtained from these publications and have been transferred to digital media and they are grouped. These groups are magazines and subjects by year, authors by subject, and magazines by subjects and magazines by authors.After up to total of 2800 text, pictures, have been scanned from culture and art magazines, they have been worked on and grouped. Criticism, exhibitions, interviews and articles on art trends have been give in the thesis. At the end of the method that has been followed, we will be able to monitor influence of between 1940 and 1960 political structure of the art and effects of outer developing on our country.As a result (Finally), Turkish art of painting was the break point between 1940-1960. Changing world order before and after World War II also influenced Turkey. The results of this interaction reflected in the art of Turkish painting. Intwenty years of this period, traditional and modern conflicts made an effort to exist at the same time that Turkish art of painting had never been active before like that.While the government?s support of art at high degrees in 1940s, it stopped supporting when it comes to end of 1950s. Thus made artists feeling alone and create their own style. Therefore, in Turkish art of painting between the 1940 and 1960 one can see different art styles at the same time.
