1948 Arab-Israeli war: A study of the military power of the parties

This study aims to explain the factors that led to the establishment of Israel and to explain the formation of the Arab Army and its effects on the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The aim of the study is covered in three main sections. In the first chapter, the Jewish migration to Palestine is mentioned in history and Zionism and the birth of the Zionist movement are explained. The Declaration of Arthur James Balfour, the British Secretary of State in 1917, which paved the way for the British Mandate administration in Palestine, was further clarified by the reactions of the Palestinians against the declaration and the practices of the British Mandate administration between 1922 and 1939. In addition, this section mentions resistance organizations and leaders established in Palestine. In the second part of the research, the Palestinian-Arab uprising against the British Mandate rule, which took place in 1936, and II. In the process of World War II from the perspective of the countries of the world on the Palestinian issue have been given. In addition, Jewish terrorist organizations and activities established during this process have been mentioned. The third and final plan of the study mentioned the British Partition Plan of 1947, which officially paved the way for the establishment of the state of Israel, and explained the establishment of the state of Israel. The first Arab-Israeli War of 1948 between Israel and the Arabs after the establishment of the state of Israel was involved with the causes and consequences. As a result, the Arab Army, led by the Arab Grand Mufti of Jerusalem (the religious leader of the Arab Palestinians) and the forces of Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia; opposed to the newly formed state of Israel, the political rivalry between them, the inability to act together, the inconsistency, etc. they have failed for reasons.
