Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to demonstrate the Turkish art's developmental process after 1960, the factors caused to regression and regarding these factors which have meaning patterns formed were observed. The works prepared by the researcher taking into consideration of observing the samples from Europe and the thoughts on patterns are related to their effects on art show this effect. The method of the study was consisted of two parts. In the first part, the developmental process of Turkish art during the regression period, the notion of being a group and the interactive relation with Western art were discussed. In the second part, on the other hand, the relationship between the art and the discourse based on the meaning and the notion were reflected. Moreover, the notions like pragmatism and conscious thought were observed and emphasized by doing a literature search. At the end of the survey, according to paradigms, the prepared paintings of Turkish artists whose were categorized by specific perspective after 1960 are observed and explained regarding the meaning pattern.
