The anlysis of movie posters of "Kemal Sunal" from the point of design criteria in Turkish comedy cinema between the years of 1970-1990

In this present study, the art life of Kemal Sunal who had filmed 82 movies throughout his art life and the effects of his movies on audience have been comprehensively researched. By searching the posters regarding the movies in which the actor is starring character between the years of 1970-1990, it has been considered that the message-image compatibility could have not been provided in 20 movie posters that have been examined in accordance with design principle in this study. This present study is limited to 20 movie posters selected among the rating in respect of the movies in which the actor is starring character. The 10 movie posters have been selected as sample among such movies and the design proposal have been suggested by practicing on the movie posters over such as changing the items that create problem, with the images taken from the movies by staying with the information included in the original piece in order to contribute to the Turkish Cinema and relevant researchers in terms of reference and design.
