The phenomenon of the female image in Contemporary Art, wanted to create a concept with works of both national and international artists. The comparison is made by analyzing classical art and contemporary art on each other. By analyzing the work of female artists such as painting, performance, installation, video, photography; descriptive style of the works touched on provided. Basis of the thesis was built up by the perception of the image created on works of Fadime Turk. It is possible to see contemporary works of female artists; together with the different images and the different perspectives of the body. The aim was to prove that her art has a wide range. Tried to tell us that artistic aura has a different effect with the weight of the body. Referring to the social perspective, different effects are considered. Strength and the struggle of the women for their existence are mentioned. In the process of preparing the thesis; interviews with female artists were included to describe the theme wanted to be shared with us.
