Abstract (EN)
The economic crises, which have a deep-rooted history throughout history, and which have placed all the economies of the country, regardless of their level of development, have always been a concept that countries focus on in their processes of change, development and growth. This concept has not only affected the economic system of the countries from the past to the present, but also brought socioeconomic phenomena with social, psychological and political problems to reach an insurmountable dimension. In this study, after 1980, when examining the impact on growth of the economic crisis in our country, studies of Turkey's economy to achieve the objectives of the research during the crisis period of growth, unemployment, import, export, per capita income, the representation of the current account deficit,% of gross domestic product data; Turkey Statistical Institute, Turkey Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, the Treasury and the Ministry of Finance, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Development of the web archive 1980s by literature to cover the period until 2019 is achieved with special attention to the use of current-year data has been. The econometric analysis methods of the relationship between crisis and economic growth were Dickey-Fuller, Phillips-Peron, Lumsdaine-Papell, DOLS (Dynamic Ordinary Least Square) method and FMOLS (Full Modified Ordinary Least Square) model. ARDL (Delay Distributed Autoregressive) boundary test and Maki Cointegration tests were applied in this model. As a result of the unit root test in the data obtained as a result of the analysis, it is seen that the growth and current account deficit/gross domestic product data are stable at the level of I(0) and they are stable I(1) after taking the first difference of unemployment, imports, exports and income per capita variables. . In the results obtained from the traditional unit root tests put into practice, unit root tests that cause multiple structural breakage were used because the series occurred at the I(0) and I(1) levels, the test result was that all variables were at the I(1) level, there was a long-term relationship and It was concluded that there was a structural break. Whether the variables are stable or not was examined with Cusum and Cusum Q graphs and it was concluded that the model was significant at 5 % level and stable in the long term. Key words: Crisis, Economic Crisis, Business Wave, Growth
