Abstract (EN)

When we consider the phenomenon of development in a broad sense, it can be expressed as an effort to minimize the human problems of the underdeveloped or developing countries and to employ the necessary dynamics in order to increase the welfare of the individual. It is not right to consider this concept as an economic-based fact. Of course, it is inevitable that the phenomenon of development will have relations with non-economic areas in this context. This gives us the idea that the concept of development can also be explained in non-economic areas. The education institution plays a key role in the development of qualified labor force. Educational institutions are also the source of human capital. On the other hand, educational institutions have a positive impact on social welfare and human development through the role of raising the individual's level of life. The aim of this study have been made in the light of earlier research, education and development in Turkey is after 1980 to examine the relationship between the current year in light of the data and evaluate the 1980-2018 year. At the end of the study, the relationship between the determinants of development and development as well as the effect of education on development were examined by means of Johansen cointegration and Granger causality tests.
