Relation between production and price in agricultural sector in Turkey after 1980, Gordes case

Agricultural sector has an important place for history of humanity. The importance which gained speed reached today as increased a lot in each period from prehistoric period to nowadays. In Turkey, after the proclamation of the republic the developed agricultural sector has gained a new dimension with the decision which taken in 24 January 1980. As a result of these decisions the outward-oriented economy was introduced and after this process was entered into adaptation process to common agricultural policy for Europe. In the implemented adaptation process, a lot of agreement was executed and in Europe developments were watched closely. Common agricultural policy and agricultural implementation reforms in Turkey have provided to take measures in favor of manifacturer. Given supports within this scope were income bracket source for farmer and has played an incentive role about cultivation of some products. Given supports have supplied an important rises at farmer's incomes in the year of 2008 and later period in Gördes. In the town of Gördes between 2008-2014, expenditure items were calculated by removing cost sheet one by one for tobacco, sesame, wheat, barley, melon, muskmelon, potato, hash, vicia sativa, cherry, olive and grape products. For this selected twelve products, total cost analysis in products which grown on a per decare has investigated seperately. Besides, revenue cost analysis was made by using maximum decare and unit prices in a decare and profitability numbers were calcuated for each product in a decare. For selected products; total cost, revenue and profit numbers in a decare how an exchange takes place between 2008-2014 have analysed diagrammatically. Total outputs, yield in a decare and unit prices were investigated for each product group between 2008-2014, total yield was calculated in fifty decare for each product group and revenues from support were added to this numbers by years.
