Abstract (EN)
In the past few years, the Syrian crisis has become one of the most important issues in the international system and has attracted the attention of many countries in the world. Syria has become a competitive area and place, based on the goals and roles of regional and international powers. Russia, Iran, America, Saudi Arabia and Turkey as an effective international and regional actors have begun to play a decisive role in this area and still play in the ongoing crisis. This study focus on the Syria geopolitics, İran's action in and towards the crisis in Syria and the effect of Russia, America, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Israel on Iran's Syria politics after crisis have been investigated. Considering the national interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a comprehensive study has been made on this issue. This study discusses the main parameters of the power struggles in Syria and its structure after he post-Cold War in geopolitics context. The hypothesis suggests that the İran's foreign policy in Syria is based on security and national interests and the Russia's policy in the Syrian crisis is an attempt to create a balance in the international system and confronting existing threats posed by the United States and Israel over the security and national interests of the country. In line with Iran's national interests, Russia, Turkey, USA, Saudi Arabia, and Israel's effect on Iran's Syria politics have been discussed.
