20th century plasti̇cs revi̇ew of the consept of vi̇olence i̇n the famale body i̇n western art

From past to present, to choose woman and her body together with the signs of 'violence' as the subject of art; is the outcome of the examination of the usual expressions of women's social and individual existence and the observation of the form and content reflected in the plastic arts in understanding and defining the position in the historical process. This way, it is finding out the equivalent of that in the practice of art while observing and experiencing how effective constructions such as cultural, social, economic, psychological, political etc position women in constructing women's identity, body language and entity. Through art, it presents the way it deals and states woman while observing the reflection of women's presence in historical terms with the effect of the conditions and the way of thought of that period by starting with the expression of "woman and her body". The place of the woman, along with the emergence of societies with class distinctions, has not preserved her identity and body either by masculinizing or by greying in a system where masculine power is dominant; and with all this, she became a commodity with her sexuality and was subjected to marginalizing and exploitation. In this context, while examining a system which does not distract from the concept of "violence", the 20th century covering "the woman and the body" in ancient Greece art creates an open space for studying in the direction of feminism, along with many other things ranging from ideas of famous philosophers, sociological research and experimentation to culture and tradition. The purpose here, even in their everyday lives, it is an attitude towards observing and expressing women in artistic practices by interrogating a cycle that can not be removed from violence. Thus, in expressing the violent signs in the body of the woman, which is the subject of art in the 20th century, it is possible to understand the artist's approach and creation process as well as the questioning of humanistic existence to understand woman as an individual.
