Technical analysis on artworks with mechanical systems in the 20th century

In this study, the use of mechanical systems in artworks in the 20th. century was evaluated, and artworks of this century were analysed from a technical view. The basics of the motion and physics were used to analyse the artworks The link between art and mechanical systems were also evaluated from a philosophical view. In this study, the artworks of the pioneer artists like Alexander Calder, Jean Tinguely and followers were analysed.with technical sketches It was concluded that the use diverse materials and technologies to form artworks confirmed that positive sciences and engineering have been interacted intensely with art.
