Abstract (EN)
The concept of metaphysics always exhibits a formation that establishes close relations with philosophy. "Time, space and object", which is one of the main components of metaphysics, has an important place in the art of painting as well as in the dimension of philosophical thought. Metaphysics, the main subject of philosophy; It reveals a structure in which ontological inquiries are used to reach the source of the knowledge that emerged in the early ages. These asset-based inquiries; In the Middle Ages, it left its place to a God-centered metaphysics. The concept of "metaphysics", which fell under the spell of scientific knowledge in the new age and later, was carried to the 20th century as a concept where physics and philosophy meet. In this framework, the 'Metaphysics Concept' has been examined through the concepts of God and existence throughout the thesis; The concepts of space and object in time, which is the subject of metaphysics, will be explained. The effects of the social destructions and disappointments experienced after the 1st World War on artists who produce works in different art disciplines will be examined, and the traces of the connection between metaphysics and the art of painting will be investigated. The ideas and symbols used in the works of Giorgio de Chirico and Carlo Carra, who are considered to be pioneers in metaphysical painting in the 20th century, will be evaluated from today's perspective. In the last part, in the context of the 'Metaphysics Concept', individual studies and the text of my work are added; My works will be analyzed.
