Modernism in 20 th century manifests in architecture, city andcinema

The new age which begins with Industrial Revolution, cause radical changes. Such as; known as 7th art, cinema discovered, according to new functions the cities must redesigned, the resitential problem that occured according to proletariate who started to emigrate to the cities and the most importantly the new forms and meanings are needed for the new technology. To all these problems; in art, architecture and cinema, manifests started to produce. Manifests try to find answers to this very new age and also include the destruction of notion and form which belongs to the old times. Manifests became the destruction and also proposal tools of new age. In painting, sculpture, architecture and cinema they seek to find the new form and meaning. This paper aims to understand the manifests which belongs to art, architecture and cinema, as Modernism and Avangard, how they effect their time and today's time.
