The impact of 2001 and 2008 financial crisis to the top 1000 enterprises performance in the Turkish manufacturing industry: Performance criterias are profitability, productivity, export, employment

The performance data of the biggest 1000 firms in the Turkish Manufacturing Industry represents the general condition of the Turkish economy. For that reason, the data of the biggest 1000 firms is studied and we gathered real values of profitability, productivity, export and employment for 24 sectors. These variables are showed in the graphs of two dimensions and we investigate the effects of 2001 and 2008 financial crisis by the help of the graphs. In conclusion we see that every sector is affected differently in the local 2001 crisis and küresel 2008 crisis. In that study we use the data produced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry.
