Özet (EN)

Corruption is one of the biggest problems in the world newdays and accepted as serious threat to stability and security. Corruption is a widespread phenomenon and has no specific geography. However, the scope, type and form of this phenomenon varies from country to country. While developed countries manage to overcome this trouble and keep their societies away from this trouble by using various methods, corruption turns into a crisis in developing countries and even more underdeveloped countries. It would not be an exaggeration to think that corruption is one of the causes of the current problems of the Afghan people and government; because everything from insecurity to poverty, from unemployment to crime, from drug trafficking to injustice and public order is directly related to corruption in government institutions. It has been 21 years since the establishment of the new regime. Despite billions of dollars spend on education, economy, military, health, culture, administration and law, Afghanistan is one of the most corrupted governments in the world. Corruption in Afghanistan has had negative consequences in terms of economy, politics, social and security. moreover, corruption is one of the three major national problems, along with insecurity and unemployment. Each of these three problems is directly related to each other. Corruption and the fight against corruption have always shown itself in Afghanistan's history, as in other states. The aim of our study is to define corruption in Afghanistan and to offer solutions to the corruption problem, based on the concept of corruption and the appearance and extent of corruption in Afghanistan. The extent of corruption in Afghanistan was examined with the international literature and local sources, the information in the sources was compared, and attempts have been made to clarify the corruption culture and damages. The study was carried out with the qualitative research method, and the obtained data come from both national, international sources and visiting Afghanistan.
