Abstract (EN)

The aims of this research were i) to determine the laws, theories, hypotheses, approaches, principles, models, experiments and research methods in biological science and ii) to determine the level of coverage of the biology science field content of the learning outcomes at the level of 4-8. grades in the 2004 Science and Technology curriculum and at the level of 3-8. grades in the 2013 and 2018 Science curricula.Document analysis, which is a qualitative research method, was used in this study. The important books in the field of biology were scanned and laws, theories, hypotheses, approaches, principles, models, experiments and research methods were listed and finalised in line with expert opinions. In these programs, learning outcomes in the field of learning living beings and life have been identified. 2004 Science and Technology curriculum, related learning outcomes to 8th grade in the field of biological sciences were directly or indirectly associated with the content of biological sciences and presented to the opinions of the experts and the relations of the other learning outcomes were made due to the compatibility of the expert opinion and the study. The results of the study showed that i) there are 5 laws, 18 theories, 19 hypotheses, 4 approaches, 3 principles, 15 models, 22 experiments and 31 research methods in the field of biology, ii) the curriculum with the highest number of learning outcomes directly and indirectly associated with biology science content is the 2004 Science and Technology curriculum, iii) there are similarities and differences in terms of the content and learning outcomes associated in all three curricula.
