Social Studies Course, which touches every aspect of our lives, started to be taught as a discipline around the world in the 1920s. In our country, it was started to be taught in 1968 for the first time under the name of Social Studies and has continued until today. This study, it is aimed to compare the 2005 and 2021 Social Study Course Curriculums in terms of strategy, method, and technique. In the study, a document analysis model, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The 2005 Social Studies Course Curriculum were examined learning outcomes and activity examples, In the 2021 Social Studies Course Curriculum, learning outcomes and the explanations of learning outcomes were examined and the findings were reached by making content analysis. Strategies: It was examined in three categories as Research-Examination, Invention, and Presentation. Methods and techniques; It was analyzed in 18 categories. These categories are Six Thinking Hats, Fishbone, Brainstorming, Individual Study, Drama, Educational Game, Travel, Interview, Observation, Cooperative Learning, Case Study, Problem Solving, Project, Simulation, Question-Answer, Oral History and Discussion. It is assumed that with this study, the deficiency in the literature will be eliminated, it will be a resource for researchers and will contribute to program development studies. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that Research-Examination and Invention strategies are dominant in the 2005 Social Study Course Curriculum and 2021 Social Study Course Curriculum, which are prepared with contemporary approaches. In terms of methods and techniques, Project method, Lecture method, Case Study method, Discussion, and Travel methods were included in the majority in the 2005 Social Study Course Curriculum. In the 2021 Social Study Course Curriculum, we can say that the Lecture method, the Case Study method, the Discussion and Question-Answer method are predominantly included. In both curriculums, it was determined that the findings on the Oral History method, brainstorming technique, Problem Solving method, Cooperative Teaching, and Fishbone technique were limited. It would be beneficial to include these and similar methods and techniques, which will keep students active in the programs. Keywords: Social Studies, curriculum, strategy, method, technique
